Setting up Exchange in Outlook
1. In Outlook >Go to Tools | E-mail Accounts| Add new email accounts

Exchange Features
• Mailboxes: Allows you to create, edit and administrate mailboxes. This includes setting up feel data that will make worker feel data ready in the Global Address Book in Outlook.
• collective Folders: Allows you to set a user to Admin status, so that they can create and administrate collective folders for shared documents in either Outlook Web entrance or Outlook.
• Distribution Lists: create a distribution list using use a singular email alias. When a message is sent to a distribution list, it is automatically routed to the email address of each member in the list.
• Contacts: create and administrate external Contacts so that they can be included in a Global Address Book.
• Disk Space: View/manage how much disk space is being used by mailboxes, and order additional space as needed.

Exchange - Spam control

Junk E-Mail folders
• Allows users to set filters in order to reduce spam.
• The Junk E-mail Filter in Outlook is turned on by default, and the security level is set to Low.

How to convert the level of junk e-mail protection:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
3. take the security level that you want.

How to share calendars

Select Share my Calendar

1. In Calendar, in the pilotage Pane click Share My Calendar.
2. Specify the population who can entrance your Calendar.
3. Click Add.
4. In the Add Users dialog box, in the Type Name or take from List box, enter the name of the person whom you want to grant sharing permissions to.
5. Under Add Users, click Add, and then click Ok.

1. Click on the user to be added to the collective Folder
2. Click the Submit button

How to Open a collective portfolio in Outlook (2003)
1. On the Go menu, click portfolio
• (Folder: Displays the folders ready in your mailbox. To view subfolders, click the plus sign (+) next to the folder. If the portfolio List is not visible, on the Go menu, click portfolio List.).
2. At the lowest of the portfolio List, click collective Folders, and then double-click the portfolio you want to open. If the portfolio you want to open is located within other folder, click the plus sign (+) next to each subfolder until you find the portfolio you want.

Public portfolio in Outlook (2003) - setting permissions
1. take the type of portfolio you want to check permissions on.
2. Right-click the folder, and then click Sharing.
3. Click the overview tab. Your permission level appears under Your permissions.
• If the Permissions tab appears instead of the overview tab, you have owner permission. If neither tab appears, you do not have permission to view or convert the portfolio properties.
